Forte Semi Matt Fiber Paper (Paper Neg)

I wanted to start doing paper negs with my 5x7 camera. Since I do not have a way to process negatives I decided to use paper in the interim. So I loaded up a bunch of 5x7 holders and zone tested the paper in Dektol diluted at 1:2.

This paper to give proper Z1 and Z8 densities is between 8 and 10 ISO for 2 minutes in Dektol.

Conclusion

Normal processing; 2 minutes, E.I. 8-10 in Dektol 1:2.

Ø Test were ran using the same process for processing silver paper prints.

Below are my test results for Forte in Dektol at 1:2 dilution:

2 minutes
 Zone 1 Zone 8
1. .13 1.40
2. .09 1.30

Now I need to figure out how to control the highlights like with normal film. If I increase the dev time nothing changes, as paper hit is max. So I am thinking I may have to use a filter over the lens maybe to control it.
